Recently we ran an article about how to drive with anticipation – That is, the skill of knowing there are a variety of dangers that can befall a driver and therefore being constantly prepared for any unexpected incident. However unfortunately, despite how well prepared you are, sometimes the unexpected is exactly that, so you need extra precautions to keep yourself safe.
One great piece of advice we can offer you in one that you have probably heard before – Maintain at least a two-second gap between yourself and the car in front should allow you sufficient time to react to any unforeseen event and take the appropriate action to avoid a collision. But remember – When driving in poor weather conditions, the time to stop your car is likely to increase.
Safe driving from Britannia!
